Daniel McLean, CPA, joined NHT with over 25 years of accounting and finance experience. Dan is responsible for the financial reporting of the real estate development, asset management, community impact and outreach, and energy solutions departments. 

Prior to joining NHT, Dan was Director of Finance for Montgomery Housing Partnership, where he oversaw financial reporting of their real estate portfolio, grants, development, and corporate initiatives. He also prepared the budget and served as liaison to the external auditors, managing 22 property audits and the corporate audit. Dan also served as Finance Director for the DC Housing Authority, where he led financial reporting and oversaw the audit of the agency and its 100 business units.

Dan started his career in public accounting performing audits and preparing corporate tax returns. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Wayne State University.
