James L. Logue III is the Chief Operating Officer of Cinnaire. Jim joined Cinnaire in 2003 after spending 12 years as Executive Director of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. Prior to coming to Michigan, he held the following positions: Executive Director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, Director of Programs and Policy at the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA), and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing Programs at the United States Department of Housing And Urban Development in Washington, DC.
He also served as President of NCSHA and chaired its committee for “best practices” for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit. Nationally known as an expert in affordable housing, Jim has testified before Congress on housing policy and has assisted in the development of federal housing programs at the invitation of members of Congress.
Jim currently serves on the boards of the National Housing Trust and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. He is the former Chairman of the Board of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, and served on the Sparrow Home Health Care board. He is also the past-president of the National Association of State and Local Equity Funds.
