I am immensely grateful to our residents who grant us the privilege to offer them a home; to our partners for their support, inspiration and friendship to increase our impact through collaboration; and to our amazing team at NHT for the dedication, passion, and creativity they bring to our mission and our work. Thank you. 

Housing Week of Action Recap 6.24.2019

The third annual Housing Week of Action highlighted critical connections between housing and access to opportunity, education, healthcare, jobs, and supportive services. NHT’s email series: More Than A Home, explored these connections using personal stories of residents from the Where Will We Live campaign.  

Where Will We Live Featured Podcast 6.24.2019

Last month, Where Will We Live (WWWL) collaborated with the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s Opportunity Starts at Home (OSAH) campaign to launch a podcast featuring resident stories from across the country that were captured as part of WWWL.

In marking Washington D.C.’s June Housing Bloom, we are celebrating the work of the National Housing Trust in preserving affordable housing in the District of Columbia across 15 properties and more than 800 affordable homes.

NHT Ingenuity Power Celebrates Completion of 1.3MW Solar Project 6.24.2019

Last month, NHT Ingenuity Power, a partnership between the National Housing Trust and Urban Ingenuity, held a ribbon-cutting celebration with the D.C. Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) Director Tommy Wells to celebrate the completion of a 1.3 megawatt scattered site solar project.

NHT Vice President, Scott Kline Stepping Down, Summer 2019 6.3.2019

Scott Kline has decided to pursue a new chapter in his career and has resigned from National Housing Trust as of August 1, 2019.   We will miss Scott deeply.
