In 2016, Kevin Franklin was in a dangerous motorcycle accident from which he sustained numerous life-threatening injuries. After some major complications, including a stroke, Kevin ultimately spent 4 weeks in the hospital and another 6 in rehabilitation. But that's not where his challenges ended. After being released from the hospital, Kevin had a 6-month legal battle ahead of him to re-gain custody of his daughter, which had been stolen from him during his time in the hospital.
